MY PARTNER AND I ARRIVED AT (BAR / RESTAURANT), XXXXX EVENING AFTER XXPM ON XX/XX/XXXX. WHEN WE CAME IN, THERE WAS A FEMALE BARTENDER WORKING BEHIND THE BAR. SHE HAD BLONDE HAIR THAT WAS PULLED BACK IN A PONYTAIL AND SHE WAS WEARING GLASSES. SHE NOTICED US COME IN AND QUICKLY CAME OVER TO US. SHE WAS VERY FRIENDLY. I ASKED HER ABOUT SOME OF YOUR SIGNATURE COCKTAILS. MY PARTNER ASKED HER ABOUT SOME CRAFT BEERS. SHE WAS ABLE TO ANSWER ALL OF OUR QUESTIONS. SHE SERVED US AND IMMEDIATELY CHARGED US. WHEN SHE BROUGHT US BACK OUR CHANGE, SHE ASKED US IF WE WOULD LIKE TO LOOK AT FOOD MENUS.
AS I WATCHED HER BEHIND THE BAR, SHE WAS ATTENTIVE. SHE MOVED BACK AND FORTH BEHIND THE BAR. SHE ALSO KEPT AN EYE ON SERVICE BAR. WHEN NEW CUSTOMERS CAME IN AND APPROACHED THE BAR, SHE DID NOT KEEP THEM WAITING TO BE SERVED. SHE ACCOUNTED FOR ALL DRINKS IMMEDIATELY, EITHER IN CASH OR BY ADDING THE DRINKS ONTO CUSTOMERS’ TABS.
THERE WERE CUSTOMERS EATING AT THE BAR. SHE WAS VERY ATTENTIVE TO THEM. WHEN SHE TOOK A FOOD ORDER, SHE SET UP THE BAR TOP. SHE CHECKED IN WITH THE CUSTOMERS WHILE THEY WERE EATING. WHEN CUSTOMERS HAD FINISHED EATING, SHE WAS GOOD AT NOTICING THEM AND GOING OVER TO REMOVE THE EMPTY PLATES AND WIPE THE BAR TOP DOWN. WHEN SHE SENT OUT DRINKS AT SERVICE BAR, SHE ALWAYS READ THE DUPE BEFORE MAKING THE DRINKS AND SENDING THEM OUT.
THERE WERE TIMES WHEN THIS BARTENDER HAD TO QUICKEN HER PACE A LITTLE AND SHE HAD NO TROUBLE DOING SO. AT ONE POINT, A COUPLE OF CUSTOMERS CAME IN AND SHE THOUGHT THAT ONE OF THEM LOOKED YOUNG. SHE DID ID THIS CUSTOMER BEFORE SERVING THEM. ANYTIME SHE WAS QUESTIONED ON BEERS, WINES, OR FOOD ITEMS, SHE WAS ABLE TO ANSWER ALL CUSTOMERS’ QUESTIONS.
WHEN MY PARTNER AND I LEFT THE BAR, WE WALKED INTO THE DINNING ROOM. WE WERE SEATED BY A FEMALE, WHO I BELIEVE WAS A MANAGER. SHE WAS NOT A YOUNG WOMAN. SHE HAD BLONDISH COLORED HAIR THAT WAS WAVY AND SHE WORE GLASSES. SHE NOTICED US AND ASKED US IF WE WOULD LIKE TO BE SEATED. SHE SAT US AND GAVE US MENUS.
OUR WAITRESS WAS OVER TO OUR TABLE VERY QUICKLY. SHE INTRODUCED HERSELF AS XXXXX. OUR FOOD TAB SAID HER NAME WAS XXXXX X. AFTER SHE INTRODUCED HERSELF, SHE WROTE DOWN THE CODES FOR THE BATHROOMS IN CASE WE NEEDED TO USE THEM. SHE NOTICED THAT MY PARTNER ALREADY HAD A COCKTAIL FROM THE BAR. I ORDERED A SODA.
AFTER SHE QUICKLY CAME BACK WITH MY SODA, MY PARTNER AND I QUESTIONED HER ON THE MENU. SHE HAD KNOWLEDGE OF THE MENU. SHE WAS ABLE TO MAKE SUGGESTIONS. SHE OFFERED US TIME TO DECIDE, LIKE SHE SHOULD. I TOLD HER THAT WE WERE READY TO ORDER. I ORDERED THE CAESAR SALAD. SHE ASKED ME IF I WOULD LIKE CHICKEN OR SALMON. I TOLD HER THAT SALMON WOULD BE TERRIFIC. MY PARTNER ORDERED A HOUSE SALAD. SHE ASKED WHAT TYPE OF DRESSING MY PARTNER WOULD LIKE. BEFORE SHE LEFT THE TABLE, SHE ASKED US IF WE WOULD LIKE SOMETHING TO START WITH, LIKE SHE SHOULD. WE TOLD HER NO THANK YOU. SHE PLACED OUR ORDER.
THE FOOD CAME OUT OF THE KITCHEN IN SEVENTEEN MINUTES. IT WAS RUN OVER TO OUR TABLE BY A FOODRUNNER. OUR WAITRESS, XXXXX, FOLLOWED OVER. SHE ASKED US IF THERE WAS ANYTHING ELSE THAT WE NEEDED. SHE ASKED MY PARTNER IF IT WAS THE RIGHT DRESSING, WHICH IT WAS. WHILE WE WERE EATING, SHE STOPPED AT THE TABLE AND NOTICED THAT MY PARTNER HAD AN EMPTY GLASS. SHE OFFERED MY PARTNER A REFILL, LIKE SHE SHOULD. WHEN WE HAD FINISHED EATING, SHE CAME OVER TO REMOVE OUR EMPTY PLATES. SHE ASKED US IF WE ENJOYED THE MEAL. WE TOLD HER THAT WE DID. SHE ASKED US IF WE WOULD LIKE ANOTHER DRINK, COFFEE, OR DESSERT, LIKE SHE SHOULD.
TO SUM, OUR WAITRESS DID A VERY NICE JOB. SHE WAS ATTENTIVE TO OUR TABLE, AS WELL AS TO HER OTHER TABLES. OUR FOOD CAME OUT OF THE KITCHEN IN SEVENTEEN MINUTES. THE PRESENTATION WAS NICE ON THE PLATES. THE TEMPERATURE THAT THE FOOD WAS SERVED AT WAS CORRECT. THE FOOD WAS FRESH AND TASTY. WHEN WE SAT DOWN, OUR TABLE WAS ALREADY SET. THE TABLE TOP, CHAIR TOPS, AND UNDERNEATH THE TABLE WERE CLEAN. THE SIDE PLATES, SILVERWARE, AND NAPKINS WERE CLEAN, AS WELL.
THERE WAS A BUSBOY WORKING, WHO WAS ALSO THE BARBACK. HE WAS VERY HELPFUL BEHIND THE BAR. HE KEPT EVERYTHING SET UP, STOCKED, AND ICED. HE STOCKED GLASSES. HE ALSO KEPT THE BAR ICED. WHEN HE WAS OUT ON THE FLOOR, HE REMOVED EMPTY PLATES. HE ALSO RESET THE TABLES WHEN CUSTOMERS LEFT.
AT ONE POINT, THERE WAS A WAITER, WHO WAS GETTING OFF HIS SHIFT. I HEARD HIM TELL HIS TABLE THAT THEY COULD CLOSE OUT THEIR TAB OR HE COULD JUST TRANSFER IT TO THE WAITRESS. I AM NOT SURE WHAT YOUR POLICY IS ON SERVERS LEAVING IN THE MIDDLE OF TAKING CARE OF A TABLE. I JUST THOUGHT THAT I WOULD BRING IT TO YOUR ATTENTION. I DO NOT KNOW IF THIS WAITER HANDLED IT THE WAY THAT YOU WANT IT TO BE HANDLED.
YOUR FLOOR STAFF WAS OUT ON THE FLOOR, OVERSEEING THEIR TABLES. THEY WERE NOT HANGING AROUND SERVICE BAR. ALL OF THE TABLES WERE SET. THE CADDIES ON THE TABLES WERE CLEAN AND SET UP CORRECTLY.
AT THIS POINT, MY PARTNER AND I WENT BACK TO THE BAR. WE WERE SERVED BY THE SAME FEMALE BARTENDER WITH BLONDE HAIR AND GLASSES, WHO SERVED US EARLIER. SHE QUICKLY SERVED US AND, AGAIN, IMMEDIATELY CHARGED US.
THROUGHOUT THE REST OF THE SPOTTING, SHE WAS ALWAYS ATTENTIVE. I HEARD HER IN CONVERSATION SAYING THAT SHE WAS AWAY FOR AWHILE, VISITING FAMILY IN OHIO. SHE WAS ALSO DISCUSSING THE FACT THAT THERE IS NO LEASE ON THIS RESTAURANT AND THAT SHE WAS HOPING TO GET THE NEWS THAT A NEW LEASE WAS SIGNED BUT FOR RIGHT NOW, IT IS UP IN THE AIR A LITTLE.
WHEN NEW CUSTOMERS CAME IN OR WHEN CUSTOMERS WERE SITTING THERE WITH EMPTY GLASSES, THIS BARTENDER QUICKLY PICKED UP ON THEM. ALL OF HER DRINKS WERE IMMEDIATELY ACCOUNTED FOR, EITHER IN CASH OR BY ADDING THE DRINKS ONTO CUSTOMERS’ TABS. SHE ALWAYS RANG THE POS CORRECTLY WHEN USING IT. SHE PLAYED A LITTLE BIT OF FAVORITISM WITH HER TIME TO CERTAIN CUSTOMERS THAT SHE SEEMED TO KNOW. HOWEVER, SHE WAS VERY GOOD AT NOTICING WHAT WAS GOING ON AROUND HER. WHEN SHE WAS IN CONVERSATION, SHE WOULD ALWAYS BREAK AWAY FROM THE CONVERSATION WHEN SHE THOUGHT THAT SOMEONE NEEDED TO BE SERVED.
SHE GAVE GOOD SERVICE TO CUSTOMERS THAT ATE AT THE BAR. SHE ACCOUNTED FOR ALL DRINKS THAT SHE SENT OUT AT SERVICE BAR BY READING THE DUPE BEFORE MAKING THE DRINKS AND SENDING THEM OUT. SHE DID NOT KEEP THE FLOOR STAFF WAITING FOR DRINKS AT SERVICE BAR. SHE DID NOT WASTE DRAFT BEER WHEN POURING IT.
CONSIDERING THAT XXXXXXX HAS A HEAVY POUR COUNT ON LIQUOR, I WOULD SAY THIS BARTENDER’S POUR COUNT WAS AN AVERAGE POUR. SHE MADE QUITE A FEW COCKTAILS AND WAS ABLE TO DO SO QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY. SHE DID NOT BUY BACK OR GIVE AWAY ANY DRINKS. SHE DID NOT DRINK. SHE WAS NOT TEXTING ON A PHONE. LIKE I MENTIONED, SHE DID ID SOME CUSTOMERS THAT SHE THOUGHT LOOKED YOUNG.
ALL OF YOUR STAFF GOT ALONG WELL WITH EACH OTHER. THERE WAS NO FRICTION. NO STAFF MEMBERS WERE SEEN DRINKING LIQUOR OR APPEARED INTOXICATED. ALL OF YOUR STAFF HAD A NICE APPEARANCE. NO STAFF MEMBERS WERE SEEN TEXTING ON A PHONE.
THE BAR WAS SET UP, STOCKED, AND ICED, WHICH DOES HELP THE BARTENDER WITH SPEED AND EFFICIENCY. THE BACK OF THE BAR, ENTIRE DINNING ROOM, WAIT STAFF STATION, AND BATHROOMS WERE ALL CLEAN AND IN GOOD SHAPE. THE TVS WERE ON WITH NO VOLUME. THERE WAS MUSIC PLAYING. THE LIGHTING AND THE TEMPERATURE INSIDE WERE NICE. ANY QUESTIONS ON THIS SPOTTING, IT WAS DONE BY STEVE AND PAT. THANK YOU.
MY PARTNER AND I ARRIVED AT (NIGHT CLUB), XXXXX EVENING AFTER XXPM ON XX/XX/XXXX. WHEN WE WERE COMING IN, THERE WAS DOOR SECURITY. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. WE WERE TOLD THAT WE HAD TO GO TO THE COAT CHECK. THE ONLY INCONVENIENCE FOR SOME CUSTOMERS AT THE COAT CHECK WAS THAT IT WAS ONLY CASH, WHICH DID CREATE A LITTLE BIT OF A BACK UP.
AT THE BAR, MY PARTNER AND I WERE FIRST SERVED BY THE FEMALE BARTENDER. SHE WAS TALL, HAD TAN SKIN, AND HER HAIR WAS UP IN A PONYTAIL. SHE LOOKED TO BE ASIAN-AMERICAN AND IN HER LATE TWENTIES. SHE NOTICED US AND QUICKLY CAME OVER TO US. I ASKED HER ABOUT SOME OF YOUR CRAFT BEERS. MY PARTNER ASKED HER WHAT WHITE WINES YOU CARRY BY THE GLASS. SHE WAS ABLE TO QUICKLY ANSWER ALL OF OUR QUESTIONS. SHE SERVED US AND IMMEDIATELY CHARGED US.
AS I WATCHED HER BEHIND THE BAR, THROUGHOUT THE SPOTTING, SHE STAYED ATTENTIVE. SHE WAS UPBEAT AND FRIENDLY WHEN INTERACTING WITH CUSTOMERS. SHE WAS GOOD AT NOTICING NEW CUSTOMERS WHEN THEY CAME IN AND APPROACHED THE BAR AND QUICKLY WENT OVER TO SERVE THEM. SHE WAS ALSO GOOD AT NOTICING EMPTY GLASSES. WHEN CUSTOMERS HAD EMPTY GLASSES UP ON THE BAR TOP, SHE WOULD ASK THEM IF THEY WOULD LIKE A REFILL AND IF THEY DID NOT, SHE WOULD REMOVE THE GLASS.
THIS BARTENDER WAS SLOW TO ACCOUNT FOR ONE ROUND OF DRINKS. AT ONE POINT, TWO DIFFERENT GROUPS OF CUSTOMERS APPROACHED THE BAR AT THE SAME TIME. SHE SERVED BOTH GROUPS AND THEN, CHARGED THEM SEPARATELY. WE SUGGEST THAT WHEN CUSTOMERS ARE SERVED, THEY SHOULD BE IMMEDIATELY CHARGED BEFORE THE NEXT CUSTOMER IS SERVED. HOWEVER, IN HER DEFENSE, I THINK THAT SHE THOUGHT IT WAS ONE BIG GROUP OF CUSTOMERS WHEN THEY FIRST APPROACHED THE BAR. ALL OF THESE DRINKS WERE, EVENTUALLY, ACCOUNTED FOR. ALL OTHER CUSTOMERS WERE IMMEDIATELY CHARGED AFTER BEING SERVED. SHE NEVER LEFT THE CASH REGISTER DRAWER OPEN. SHE ALWAYS RANG THE POS CORRECTLY.
SHE SERVED FOOD AT THE BAR. SHE WAS ATTENTIVE TO CUSTOMERS THAT ATE AT THE BAR AND GAVE THEM GOOD SERVICE. SHE DID HER BEST NOT TO KEEP CUSTOMERS WAITING TO BE SERVED. SHE DID PUT OUT SOME DRINKS TO THE FLOOR STAFF. THESE DRINKS WERE ACCOUNTED FOR WHEN THEY WENT OUT. SHE NEVER SHOWED FAVORITISM TO ANY CUSTOMERS. SHE TREATED ALL CUSTOMERS EQUALLY.
THIS BARTENDER DID NOT WASTE DRAFT BEER WHEN POURING IT. SOME DRINKS WERE A FOUR COUNT, AN AVERAGE POUR, WHILE OTHER DRINKS WERE AS HEAVY AS A FIVE COUNT, WHICH IS A HEAVY POUR. SHE MADE SOME COCKTAILS AND ABLE TO DO SO QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY. SHE DID NOT BUY BACK OR GIVE AWAY ANY DRINKS. THERE WAS ONE QUICK TIME, DURING THE SPOTTING, WHEN SHE WAS OFF THE BAR. SHE DID NOT DRINK. SHE WAS NOT COUNTING HER TIPS. SHE WAS NOT TEXTING ON A PHONE. SHE WORKED WELL WITH THE OTHER BARTENDERS.
THERE WAS ANOTHER FEMALE BARTENDER WORKING BEHIND THE BAR. SHE WAS CAUCASIAN, TALL, AND BRUNETTE. SHE WORKED AT A QUICK PACE. SHE CAME ACROSS AS POLITE BUT SHE WAS NOT TALKATIVE TO MOST CUSTOMERS. WHEN CUSTOMERS APPROACHED THE BAR OR WHEN CUSTOMERS WANTED REFILLS, SHE PICKED UP ON THEM QUICKLY. ALL OF HER DRINKS WERE IMMEDIATELY ACCOUNTED FOR, EITHER IN CASH OR BY BEING ADDED ONTO TABS. SHE NEVER LEFT THE CASH REGISTER DRAWER OPEN. SHE ALWAYS RANG THE POS CORRECTLY.
THERE WERE TIMES WHEN SHE HAD TO QUICKEN HER PACE AND SHE HAD NO TROUBLE DOING SO. SHE SERVED FOOD AT THE BAR. SHE GAVE GOOD SERVICE TO ALL CUSTOMERS THAT ATE AT THE BAR. THERE WERE A COUPLE OF GENTLEMEN KIDDING AROUND AND FLIRTING WITH HER BUT SHE DID NOT GET CAUGHT UP WITH THEM. SHE WAS POLITE TO THEM BUT STAYED FOCUSED ON HER JOB. WHEN THEY WERE KIDDING AROUND AND TALKING TO, SHE WATCHED WHAT WAS GOING ON AROUND HER WHILE SHE WAS SPEAKING TO THEM. SHE KEPT THESE CONVERSATIONS SHORT AND PAID ATTENTION TO CUSTOMERS THAT NEEDED TO BE SERVED. SHE NEVER SHOWED FAVORITISM TO ANY CUSTOMERS.
THIS BARTENDER DID NOT WASTE DRAFT BEER WHEN POURING IT. MOST OF HER DRINKS RANGED BETWEEN A FOUR COUNT AND A FIVE COUNT. SINCE A FOUR COUNT IS AN AVERAGE POUR, QUITE A FEW OF HER DRINKS WERE HEAVIER THAN WHAT A STANDARD DRINK SHOULD BE. WHEN SHE MADE A COCKTAIL, SHE MADE IT QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY. HOWEVER, THERE WAS LIQUOR LEFT OVER IN THE SHAKER. SHE POURED OUT THE LEFT OVER LIQUOR AS SHOTS AND GAVE THEM AWAY TO THE TWO GENTLEMEN AT THE BAR, WHO WERE KIDDING AROUND AND FLIRTING WITH HER. THESE WERE THE ONLY DRINKS THAT SHE BOUGHT BACK OR GAVE AWAY DURING THE SPOTTING. SHE DID NOT DRINK. SHE WAS NOT COUNTING HER TIPS. SHE WAS NOT TEXTING ON A PHONE.
WHEN MY PARTNER AND I WERE READY FOR A SECOND ROUND OF DRINKS, WE PUSHED OUR EMPTY GLASSES IN FRONT OF THE THIRD FEMALE BARTENDER. SHE HAD BLACK HAIR AND LOOKED LIKE SHE MIGHT BE SPANISH-AMERICAN. SHE WAS FINISHING UP WITH SOME CUSTOMERS BUT SHE SAID THAT SHE WOULD BE RIGHT WITH US. AFTER SHE SERVED AND CHARGED THOSE CUSTOMERS, SHE CAME OVER TO US. SHE HAD KNOWLEDGE OF YOUR CRAFT BEERS AND WHAT WHITE WINES YOU CARRY BY THE GLASS. AFTER SHE ANSWERED ALL OF OUR QUESTIONS, SHE SERVED US AND IMMEDIATELY CHARGED US.
AS I WATCHED HER BEHIND THE BAR, THERE WERE TIMES WHEN SHE COULD HAVE WORKED AT A QUICKER PACE. HOWEVER, SHE JUST WORKED AT ONE SPEED. I WANT TO MAKE IT CLEAR THAT HER SPEED WAS NOT SLOW. THERE WERE JUST TIMES WHEN I THINK THAT SHE COULD HAVE BEEN QUICKER BEHIND THE BAR BUT SHE CHOSE TO WORK AT ONE SPEED. SHE CAME ACROSS AS POLITE WHEN INTERACTING WITH CUSTOMERS.
THIS BARTENDER WAS GOOD AT NOTICING NEW CUSTOMERS WHEN THEY CAME IN AND APPROACHED THE BAR. THERE WERE CUSTOMERS SITTING THERE WITH EMPTY GLASSES UP ON THE BAR TOP. THEY WERE CHIT CHATTING WITH EACH OTHER. SHE SHOULD HAVE ASKED THESE CUSTOMERS IF THEY WANTED REFILLS. HOWEVER, SHE DID NOT. SHE JUST WAITED UNTIL THE CUSTOMERS ASKED HER FOR REFILLS. SHE ACCOUNTED FOR ALL DRINKS IMMEDIATELY, EITHER IN CASH OR BY ADDING THE DRINKS ONTO CUSTOMERS’ TABS. SHE NEVER LEFT THE CASH REGISTER DRAWER OPEN. SHE ALWAYS RANG THE POS CORRECTLY.
SHE ALSO SERVED FOOD TO CUSTOMERS AT THE BAR. SHE WAS ATTENTIVE TO ALL CUSTOMERS EATING AT THE BAR AND SHE GAVE THEM GOOD SERVICE. ALTHOUGH SHE WAS NOT THE FASTEST BARTENDER, SHE ONLY KEPT CUSTOMERS WAITING TO BE SERVED A MINUTE OR TWO LONGER THAN SHE SHOULD HAVE. THERE WERE ALSO TIMES WHEN SHE SEEMED LIKE SHE WAS BORED. WHEN THINGS SLOWED DOWN, SHE JUST SEEMED BORED BEHIND THE BAR. SHE NEVER SHOWED FAVORITISM TO ANY CUSTOMERS.
THERE WERE TIMES WHEN THIS BARTENDER WASTED DRAFT BEER. SHE WOULD PULL THE HANDLE BACK BEFORE THE GLASS WAS UNDERNEATH IT. IF THERE IS NO PROBLEM WITH THE DRAFT SYSTEM WITH WARM BEER COMING OUT AT THE START, THIS IS JUST LETTING DRAFT BEER POUR DOWN THE DRAIN AND WASTING IT. SHE ALSO GAVE OUT A SAMPLE TASTE OF DRAFT BEER TO A CUSTOMER THAT QUESTIONED WHAT THE BEER TASTED LIKE. HER POUR COUNT ON LIQUOR WAS CONSISTENTLY A FOUR AND A HALF COUNT. HOWEVER, AGAIN, SINCE A FOUR COUNT IS AN AVERAGE POUR, SOME OF HER DRINKS WERE A LITTLE STRONGER THAN WHAT AN AVERAGE DRINK SHOULD BE.
AT ONE POINT, A CUSTOMER BROUGHT BACK A DRINK THAT THEY DID NOT LIKE. SHE DUMPED THE DRINK AND REPLACED IT FOR THE CUSTOMER AT NO CHARGE. THIS WAS THE ONLY DRINK THAT SHE BOUGHT BACK OR GAVE AWAY. HOWEVER, WE DO NOT REALLY CONSIDER THIS TO BE A BUY BACK BECAUSE SHE DID IT MORE FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. SHE DID NOT APPEAR TO KNOW THIS CUSTOMER. I COULD NOT HEAR EXACTLY WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THE DRINK BUT SHE JUST WANTED THE CUSTOMER TO BE HAPPY SO, SHE REPLACED THE DRINK AT NO CHARGE.
DURING THE SPOTTING, THIS BARTENDER MADE A COCKTAIL, STUCK A STRAW IN IT, TAPPED THE STRAW, AND POURED IT INTO HER MOUTH SO SHE KNEW WHAT IT TASTED LIKE. I DO NOT REALLY CONSIDER TO BE DRINKING. HOWEVER, A LOT OF CUSTOMERS DO NOT APPRECIATE IT WHEN A BARTENDER STICKS A STRAW INTO THEIR DRINK AND THEN, SUCKS ON IT. EXCEPT FOR THIS, SHE DID NOT DRINK LIQUOR. SHE WAS NOT COUNTING HER TIPS. SHE WAS NOT TEXTING ON A PHONE.
THERE WAS A MALE BARTENDER WORKING ON THE END OF THE BAR. HE HAD SALT AND PEPPER COLORED HAIR. HE WAS ATTENTIVE AND POLITE. HE DID A LOT OF THE SERVICE BAR. HE WAS GOOD AT NOTICING CUSTOMERS WHEN THEY APPROACHED THE BAR. HE WAS ALSO GOOD AT NOTICING CUSTOMERS THAT PUT EMPTY GLASSES UP ON THE BAR TOP. HE WOULD OFFER CUSTOMERS REFILLS AND IF THEY SAID NO, HE WOULD REMOVE THE EMPTY GLASSES. HE ACCOUNTED FOR ALL DRINKS IMMEDIATELY. HE NEVER LEFT THE CASH REGISTER OPEN. HE ALWAYS RANG THE POS CORRECTLY WHEN USING IT.
HE ACCOUNTED FOR ALL OF THE DRINKS THAT HE SENT OUT AT SERVICE BAR BY READING THE DUPE BEFORE MAKING THE DRINKS AND SENDING THEM OUT. HE NEVER SHOWED FAVORITISM TO ANY CUSTOMERS. HE WAS ABLE TO WORK AT A QUICK PACE. HE DID NOT WASTE DRAFT BEER WHEN POURING IT. HE HAD AN AVERAGE POUR COUNT WHEN HE POURED LIQUOR. HE MADE A LOT OF COCKTAILS AND WAS ABLE TO DO SO QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY. HE DID NOT HAVE LIQUOR LEFT OVER IN THE SHAKER AFTER MAKING THE COCKTAILS. HE NEVER DRANK LIQUOR. HE WAS NOT COUNTING HIS TIPS. HE WAS NOT TEXTING ON A PHONE.
YOUR WAIT STAFF WAS OUT ON THE FLOOR. THEY WERE ATTENTIVE TO THEIR TABLES. THEY WERE NOT HANGING AROUND THE BAR. THERE WAS A BARBACK WORKING BEHIND THE BAR. HE KEPT EVERYTHING SET UP, STOCKED, AND ICED. HE WAS VERY SUPPORTIVE TO THE BARTENDERS.
THERE WERE CERTAIN QUESTIONS THAT JOE WANTED TO MAKE SURE WE ANSWERED FOR YOU. THE ENTRYWAY IN AND ALL GLASS DOORS WERE SMUDGE FREE. WE ALSO FOCUSED ON THE SECURITY. NO SECURITY TOOK MONEY OR WAS OFFERED MONEY ON THE FRONT DOOR TO GET IN. YOUR SECURITY WAS ALSO POSTED INSIDE, PAYING ATTENTION TO THE CROWD. THE COAT CHECK DID BACK UP A LITTLE BECAUSE, AGAIN, THEY WERE ONLY TAKING CASH. YOUR BARTENDERS WERE KNOWLEDGEABLE OF COCKTAILS, BEERS, AND WINES. YOUR BARTENDERS DID NOT TRY TO UPSELL TO MORE EXPENSIVE LIQUORS OR BEERS. NO CUSTOMERS WERE SERVED THAT APPEARED TO ALREADY BE INTOXICATED. THE BAR TOP WAS ALWAYS KEPT CLEAN. ALL GLASSWARE WAS CLEAN. HOWEVER, THE SHAKERS WERE NOT WASHED IN BETWEEN USES. WHEN CUSTOMERS ASKED TO SETTLE THEIR TABS, IT WAS HANDLED QUICKLY. THE ONLY COMPLIMENT WAS FROM A CUSTOMER, WHO WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THEIR DRINK, WHICH I ADDRESSED EARLIER IN THE REPORT. THE CUSTOMER’S DRINK WAS QUICKLY REPLACED AT NO CHARGE. THERE WAS NO MANAGEMENT OUT ON THE FLOOR. THE BATHROOMS WERE VERY CLEAN AND ODOR FREE. ALL OF YOUR STAFF CAME ACROSS AS PLEASANT AND HAPPY TO BE THERE.
ALL OF YOUR STAFF WORKED WELL WITH EACH OTHER THERE WAS NO FRICTION. NO STAFF MEMBER WAS SEEN EATING. NO STAFF MEMBER WAS SEEN DRINKING LIQUOR OR APPEARED INTOXICATED. ALL OF YOUR STAFF HAD A VERY NICE APPEARANCE. THE ONLY STAFF MEMBER SEEN TEXTING ON A PHONE WAS THE BARBACK.
THE BAR WAS SET UP IN STOCK CORRECTLY, WHICH DOES HELP THE BARTENDERS WITH SPEED AND EFFICIENCY. THE BACK OF THE BAR, LOUNGE AREA, TABLE AREA, AND BATHROOMS WERE ALL CLEAN AND IN GOOD SHAPE. THE SPORTING EVENTS WERE ON TV WITH NO VOLUME. THE LIGHTING AND THE MUSIC WERE FANTASTIC. THE CUSTOMERS REALLY SEEMED TO BE ENJOYING THEMSELVES. THE TEMPERATURE INSIDE WAS NICE. OVERALL, THERE WAS A GREAT ATMOSPHERE. ANY QUESTIONS ON THIS SPOTTING, IT WAS DONE BY HUDDY AND MARY. THANK YOU.
MY PARTNER AND I ARRIVED AT (IRISH SPORTS PUB), XXXXXX NIGHT ON XX/XX/XXXX. WHEN WE CAME IN, WE WERE GREETED BY TWO FEMALES ON THE FRONT DOOR. THEY BOTH HAD DARK HAIR AND WERE BOTH VERY PLEASANT. THEY OFFERED US A TABLE. WE TOLD THEM THAT WE WERE GOING TO THE BAR. THEY WERE VERY POLITE AND ENGAGING TO ALL CUSTOMERS. HOWEVER, I WANT TO MENTION THAT THE FEMALE NOT WEARING GLASSES WAS TEXTING ON HER PHONE.
MY PARTNER AND I STARTED WITH THE MALE BARTENDER WORKING CLOSEST TO THE FRONT DOOR. HE HAD DARK HAIR BUT HIS BEARD HAD A REDDISH TINT TO IT AND HE HAD QUITE A FEW TATTOOS. HE WAS FINISHING UP WITH SOME CUSTOMERS. AFTER HE SERVED AND CHARGED THOSE CUSTOMERS, HE CAME OVER TO US. I QUESTIONED HIM ON SOME OF THE COCKTAILS. MY PARTNER ASKED HIM ABOUT THE NEW CRAFT BEERS. HE WAS ABLE TO DISCUSS ALL OF THE ITEMS WITH US AND MAKE SUGGESTIONS. HE SERVED US AND IMMEDIATELY CHARGED US.
AS I WATCHED HIM BEHIND THE BAR, HE WAS POLITE WHEN INTERACTING WITH CUSTOMERS. HE MOVED BACK AND FORTH IN HIS SECTION OF THE BAR. WHEN HE FELT THAT HE HAD A QUIET MOMENT, THERE WERE TIMES WHEN HE WOULD LEAVE HIS STATION TO CHAT WITH THE OTHER BARTENDER. WHEN NEW CUSTOMERS CAME IN AND APPROACHED HIS SECTION OF THE BAR, HE USUALLY PICKED UP ON THEM QUICKLY AND DID NOT KEEP CUSTOMERS WAITING TO BE SERVED.
THERE WERE TIMES WHEN THIS BARTENDER WAS NOT GOOD AT OFFERING CUSTOMERS REFILLS. THERE WERE GROUPS OF CUSTOMERS SITTING THERE, CHATTING, WITH EMPTY GLASSES IN FRONT OF THEM. HE SHOULD HAVE OFFERED THESE CUSTOMERS REFILLS. HOWEVER, QUITE OFTEN, HE WOULD WAIT FOR THE CUSTOMERS TO ASK HIM FOR A REFILL. A GOOD BARTENDER NOTICES EMPTY GLASSES AND GOES OVER TO POLITELY ASK CUSTOMERS IF THEY WOULD LIKE ANOTHER DRINK, INSTEAD OF JUST LETTING CUSTOMERS SIT THERE WITH EMPTY GLASSES.
THERE WERE TWO ROUNDS OF DRINKS THAT HE DID NOT IMMEDIATELY ACCOUNT FOR, LIKE HE SHOULD HAVE. WE SUGGEST THAT IT SHOULD ALWAYS BE TAKE THE ORDER, MAKE THE DRINK, ACCOUNT FOR IT IMMEDIATELY, AND THEN MOVE ON TO THE NEXT CUSTOMER THAT IS WAITING TO BE SERVED. THERE WERE TWO DIFFERENT TIMES WHEN HE SERVED A GROUP OF CUSTOMERS, WENT OVER TO SERVE A SECOND GROUP OF CUSTOMERS, CHARGED THE SECOND GROUP, AND THEN I SAW LOOKING OVER AT THE FIRST GROUP OF CUSTOMERS THAT HE SERVED, TRYING TO REMEMBER WHAT HE SERVED THEM, SO, HE COULD ADD THEIR DRINKS ONTO A TAB. WE SUGGEST THAT THE BAR SHOULD NOT RUN ON THE BARTENDER’S MEMORY. HE ALWAYS RANG THE REGISTER CORRECTLY WHEN USING IT.
THIS BARTENDER SERVED FOOD AT THE BAR. HE HAD KNOWLEDGE OF THE FOOD ITEMS. HE SET UP THE BAR TOP WHEN HE TOOK THE ORDER. HE CHECKED IN WITH THE CUSTOMERS WHILE THEY WERE EATING TO MAKE SURE THAT THEY HAD EVERYTHING THEY NEEDED. WHEN CUSTOMERS HAD FINISHED EATING, HE WAS GOOD AT NOTICING THEM AND GOING OVER TO REMOVE THE EMPTY PLATES AND WIPE THE BAR TOP DOWN.
DURING THE SPOTTING, HE DID PUT OUT SOME DRINKS AT SERVICE BAR. HE ACCOUNTED FOR THESE DRINKS BY READING THE DUPE BEFORE MAKING THEM AND SENDING THEM OUT. HE NEVER SHOWED FAVORITISM TO ANY CUSTOMERS. HE TREATED ALL CUSTOMERS EQUALLY. WHEN HE WAS IN CONVERSATION WITH CUSTOMERS, HE WAS GOOD AT WATCHING WHAT WAS GOING ON AROUND HIM AND IF HE THOUGHT THAT SOMEONE NEEDED TO BE SERVED, HE WOULD BREAK AWAY FROM THE CONVERSATION.
THIS BARTENDER DID NOT WASTE DRAFT BEER WHEN POURING IT. HE DID GIVE OUT SOME SAMPLE TASTES OF YOUR DRAFT BEER TO CERTAIN CUSTOMERS. HE WAS CONSISTENT WITH A WINE POUR. WHEN MAKING COCKTAILS, HE USED A TUMBLER. HOWEVER, WHEN HE WAS POURING ROCK LIQUOR, HE DID NOT USE A TUMBLER. SOME DRINKS WERE A FOUR COUNT, AN AVERAGE POUR, WHILE OTHER DRINKS WERE A FIVE COUNT, WHICH IS A HEAVY POUR.
HE WAS ABLE TO MAKE COCKTAILS QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY. AT ONE POINT, AFTER HE MADE AND DELIVERED A COCKTAIL, HE POURED OFF WHAT WAS LEFT IN THE SHAKER INTO A GLASS AND TASTED IT. AFTER HE TOOK A VERY SMALL SIP OF THIS COCKTAIL, HE DUMPED THE REST OF IT. THERE WERE QUITE A FEW TIMES WHEN HE HAD LIQUOR LEFT IN HIS SHAKER AFTER MAKING COCKTAILS. THIS IS A WASTE OF LIQUOR. I WANT TO MENTION THAT HE WAS WASHING HIS SHAKERS IN BETWEEN MAKING DRINKS.
AT ONE POINT, A CUSTOMER BROUGHT A DRINK BACK TO THIS BARTENDER. SINCE I COULD NOT HEAR THE CONVERSATION, I DO NOT KNOW IF THERE WAS SOMETHING IN THE DRINK OR IF THE CUSTOMER JUST DID NOT LIKE THE DRINK. HE TOOK THE DRINK FROM THE CUSTOMER, DUMPED IT, AND REPLACED IT WITH ANOTHER DRINK. THIS WAS THE ONLY DRINK THAT HE DID NOT CHARGE FOR. WE DO NOT CONSIDER THIS TO BE A BUY BACK BECAUSE IT WAS DONE MORE FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
HE DID NOT DRINK LIQUOR, EXCEPT FOR WHEN HE TOOK A SIP OF ONE OF THE COCKTAILS THAT HE MADE, WHICH I MENTIONED EARLIER. WE BELIEVE THAT HE DRANK IT TO SEE WHAT IT TASTED LIKE AND NOT TO JUST DRINK LIQUOR. QUITE OFTEN, THROUGHOUT THE SPOTTING, HE WENT BACK TO HIS CELL PHONE. WE SUGGEST THAT INSTEAD OF TEXTING, BARTENDERS SHOULD BE INTERACTING WITH CUSTOMERS. HE WORKED WELL WITH THE OTHER BARTENDER.
WHEN MY PARTNER AND I WERE READY FOR A SECOND ROUND OF DRINKS, WE TOOK OUR EMPTY GLASSES AND WENT DOWN THE BAR. WE PUSHED OUR EMPTY GLASSES IN FRONT OF THE OTHER MALE BARTENDER. HE WAS TALLER AND HAD SHORT, DARK HAIR. HE QUICKLY NOTICED US AND CAME OVER. MY PARTNER ASKED HIM WHAT WHITE WINES YOU CARRY BY THE GLASS. I QUESTIONED HIM ON DRAFT BEERS. HE WAS ABLE TO ANSWER ALL OF OUR QUESTIONS. HE MADE SUGGESTIONS ON THE BEERS. HE SERVED US AND IMMEDIATELY CHARGED US. WHEN HE BROUGHT US BACK OUR CHANGE, HE OFFERED US FOOD MENUS.
AS I WATCHED HIM BEHIND THE BAR, HE WAS ALWAYS POLITE WHEN INTERACTING WITH CUSTOMERS. HE WAS GOOD AT NOTICING NEW CUSTOMERS WHEN THEY CAME IN AND APPROACHED THE BAR. HE DID NOT KEEP CUSTOMERS WAITING TO BE SERVED. HE WAS ALSO GOOD AT NOTICING CUSTOMERS SITTING THERE WITH EMPTY GLASSES. IF CUSTOMERS DID NOT ASK HIM FOR A REFILL, HE WOULD OFFER THEM ONE.
THIS BARTENDER ACCOUNTED FOR ALL DRINKS IMMEDIATELY, EITHER IN CASH OR BY ADDING THE DRINKS ONTO CUSTOMERS’ TABS. HE ALWAYS RANG THE REGISTER CORRECTLY. HE SERVED FOOD IN HIS SECTION OF THE BAR. HE SET UP THE BAR TOP WHEN HE TOOK THE ORDER. HE CHECKED IN WITH THE CUSTOMERS WHILE THEY WERE EATING. WHEN CUSTOMERS HAD FINISHED EATING, EITHER HE OR THE BARBACK WOULD NOTICE AND GO OVER TO REMOVE THE EMPTY PLATES AND WIPE THE BAR TOP DOWN.
HE WAS LETTING THE BARBACK DO A LOT OF THE DRINKS AT SERVICE BAR. YOUR FLOOR STAFF WAS ALSO HELPING THEMSELVES TO WINES AND NOBODY WAS READING THE DUPE. QUITE OFTEN, YOUR STAFF JUST PICKED UP THE DUPE AND SPIKED IT ON THE SPINDLE. THE FLOOR STAFF KNOWS THAT BARTENDERS GIVE AWAY DRINKS TO INCREASE THEIR TIPS AND QUITE OFTEN, THEY WILL DO THE SAME THING IF GIVEN THE CHANCE. WE SUGGEST THAT ALL DRINKS GOING OUT AT SERVICE BAR SHOULD BE ACCOUNTED FOR BY THE BARTENDER. THE FLOOR STAFF WAS POURING THEIR OWN WINES AND NOBODY WAS MONITORING IT.
THE BARBACK WAS MAKING DRINKS AND COCKTAILS AND SENDING THEM OUT AT SERVICE BAR BUT THIS BARTENDER WAS NOT OVERSEEING THIS. YOU MAY ALLOW THE BARBACK TO DO THIS BUT WE JUST WANT TO BRING TO YOUR ATTENTION THAT THE BARBACK WAS DOING A LOT OF THE SERVICE BAR AND HE DID A VERY NICE JOB.
BACK TO THE TALLER MALE BARTENDER WITH SHORT, DARK HAIR, HE NEVER SHOWED FAVORITISM WITH HIS TIME OR WITH DRINKS TO ANY CUSTOMERS. HE TREATED ALL CUSTOMERS EQUALLY. HE DID NOT WASTE DRAFT BEER WHEN POURING IT.
QUITE OFTEN, HE WASTED LIQUOR. I DO NOT KNOW WHY HE SEEMED TO BE HAVING SO MUCH TROUBLE. HE WOULD FILL THE GLASS WITH ICE AND WHEN HE USED LIQUOR BOTTLES THAT HAD POURERS IN THEM, THE LIQUOR WOULD BOUNCE OFF THE ICE AND MISS THE GLASS. THERE WERE OTHER TIMES WHEN HE MADE COCKTAILS BY USING A TUMBLER AND INSTEAD OF BEING CAREFUL WITH THE LIQUOR AND MAKING SURE THAT IT PASSED THE ICE AND GOT INTO THE GLASS, HE WOULD SPLASH THE LIQUOR ON TOP OF THE ICE AND, AGAIN, THE LIQUOR WOULD BOUNCE OFF THE ICE.
WHEN THIS BARTENDER NOTICED THAT THE LIQUOR BOUNCED OFF OF THE ICE, HE WOULD POUR A LITTLE EXTRA LIQUOR INTO THE GLASS. HE FREE POURED RACK LIQUOR. WHEN HE MADE COCKTAILS OR SERVED THE MORE EXPENSIVE LIQUORS, HE USED A TUMBLER. HOWEVER, AGAIN, SINCE HE WAS NOT ALWAYS BEING CAREFUL, HE WASTED LIQUOR AND THEN, USED MORE LIQUOR TO MAKE SURE THAT HE HAD ENOUGH LIQUOR IN THE GLASS. HE DID NOT TASTE HIS COCKTAILS AFTER MAKING THEM. HE DID NOT HAVE LIQUOR LEFT OVER IN THE SHAKER AFTER MAKING COCKTAILS. HE NEVER BOUGHT BACK OR GAVE AWAY ANY DRINKS. HE DID NOT DRINK. HE WAS ALSO SEEN TEXTING ON A PHONE DURING THE SPOTTING. HE WORKED WELL WITH THE OTHER BARTENDER.
I WANT TO MENTION THAT YOUR BARTENDERS WERE USING SCOOPS WHEN PUTTING ICE INTO THE GLASSES. ALL OF THE GARNISHES LOOKED FRESH. WE DID NOT NOTICE ANY ISSUES WITH THE FOOD BEING RUN FROM THE KITCHEN TO THE TABLE OR TO THE BAR. WE DID NOT HEAR ANY CUSTOMERS MAKING ANY COMPLAINTS. NO PATRONS AT THE BAR OR AT THE TABLES APPEARED INTOXICATED.
LIKE I MENTIONED, THERE WAS A BARBACK WORKING. HE KNEW HIS JOB AND DID IT WITHOUT DIRECTION. HE KEPT THE BAR SET UP, STOCKED, AND ICED. HE ALSO STACKED GLASSES. OVERALL, HE WAS VERY SUPPORTIVE TO THE BARTENDERS. YOUR FLOOR STAFF WAS OUT ON THE FLOOR, OVERSEEING THEIR TABLES. THEY WERE NOT HANGING AROUND SERVICE BAR. THERE DID NOT APPEAR TO BE A MANAGER OUT ON THE FLOOR, OVERSEEING THE OPERATION.
ALL OF YOUR STAFF WORKED WELL WITH EACH OTHER. THERE WAS NO FRICTION. YOUR STAFF WAS VERY PERSONABLE AND NICE WHEN INTERACTING WITH CUSTOMERS. NO STAFF MEMBERS WERE SEEN EATING. THE ONLY STAFF MEMBER SEEN DRINKING WAS THE MALE BARTENDER THAT TASTED A COCKTAIL HE MADE, WHICH I MENTIONED EARLIER IN THE REPORT. ALL OF YOUR STAFF HAD A NICE APPEARANCE AND WERE WELL GROOMED. BOTH BARTENDERS AND ONE OF THE HOSTESSES WERE SEEN TEXTING ON A PHONE.
THE BAR WAS SET UP IN STOCK CORRECTLY, WHICH DOES HELP THE BARTENDERS WITH SPEED AND EFFICIENCY. THE BAR TOP WAS KEPT CLEAN. THE BACK OF THE BAR, TABLE AREA, AND BATHROOMS WERE VERY CLEAN AND IN GOOD SHAPE. THE OUTSIDE AREA WAS WELL LIT AND CLEAN. THERE WAS MUSIC PLAYING. THE LIGHTING AND THE TEMPERATURE INSIDE WERE NICE. OVERALL, THERE WAS A VERY NICE ATMOSPHERE. ANY QUESTIONS ON THIS SPOTTING, IT WAS DONE BY ANNIE AND MIKE. THANK YOU.
MY PARTNER AND I ARRIVED AT (FINE DINNING BAR / RESTAURANT), XXXXX EVENING ON XX/XX/XXXX. WHEN WE CAME IN, THERE WAS A PARTY GOING ON IN THE FRONT ROOM. WHEN WE WALKED THROUGH THE ROOM, WE WERE GREETED BY A HOSTESS, WHO WAS AFRICAN-AMERICAN. SHE WAS STANDING THERE, TEXTING ON HER PHONE. SHE LOOKED UP FROM HER PHONE AND SAID HELLO TO US. HOWEVER, AFTER SHE SAID HELLO TO US, SHE CONTINUED TO TEXT ON HER PHONE.
WHEN MY PARTNER AND I WALKED INTO THE BAR, THERE WAS A MALE BARTENDER WORKING BEHIND THE BAR. HE WAS A LITTLE STOCKY. HE HAD A ROUND FACE AND DARK HAIR. HE WAS FINISHING UP WITH SOME CUSTOMERS. AFTER HE SERVED THESE CUSTOMERS, HE ADDED THEIR DRINKS ONTO A TAB. QUITE A BIT OF YOUR STAFF WENT BEHIND THE BAR TO MAKE THEIR OWN DRINKS. AT TIMES, THEY WERE BEHIND THE BAR, CHATTING WITH EACH OTHER. WHEN HE CAME OVER TO US, HE WAS VERY FRIENDLY. I QUESTIONED HIM ON A COUPLE OF DIFFERENT COCKTAILS. HE WAS ABLE TO MAKE SUGGESTIONS. HE SERVED US AND IMMEDIATELY CHARGED US. WHEN HE BROUGHT US BACK OUR CHANGE, HE ASKED US IF WE WOULD LIKE TO LOOK AT A MENU.
AS I WATCHED HIM BEHIND THE BAR, HE WAS USUALLY ATTENTIVE. HOWEVER, THERE WERE TIMES WHEN HE SEEMED DISTRACTED. AT ONE POINT, THE WAITRESS, WHO SERVED US AT THE TABLE, CAME BEHIND THE BAR TO MAKE HER OWN DRINKS. OUR FOOD TAB SAID HER NAME WAS XXXXX. NOT ONLY DID HE ALLOW THIS, HE WAS SHOWING HER HOW TO USE THE TUMBLER, SO SHE COULD MAKE HER OWN DRINKS. HE WAS ALWAYS POLITE AND FRIENDLY WHEN INTERACTING WITH CUSTOMERS. WHEN NEW CUSTOMERS CAME IN AND APPROACHED THE BAR, HE PICKED UP ON THEM QUICKLY. AT THE BAR, HE WAS ACCOUNTING FOR ALL DRINKS IMMEDIATELY.
THIS BARTENDER SERVED FOOD AT THE BAR. HE WAS VERY ATTENTIVE TO THESE CUSTOMERS. HE SET UP THE BAR TOP WHEN HE TOOK THE ORDER. HE MADE SURE THAT THE CUSTOMERS HAD EVERYTHING THEY NEEDED WHILE THEY WERE EATING. WHEN CUSTOMERS HAD FINISHED EATING, EITHER HE OR THE BARBACK QUICKLY WENT OVER TO REMOVE THE EMPTY PLATES AND WIPE THE BAR TOP DOWN.
HE WAS NOT ATTENTIVE TO SERVICE BAR. HE JUST LET THE STAFF HELP THEMSELVES. THERE WAS A WAITER WITH BLACK HAIR AND A CHIN STRAP BEARD. HE WOULD TAKE AN ORDER AT A TABLE, GO BEHIND THE BAR TO MAKE THE DRINKS, DELIVER THEM, AND THEN I WOULD SEE HIM GO TO POS. THESE DRINKS SHOULD HAVE BEEN ADDED ONTO CUSTOMERS’ TABS BEFORE THEY WERE MADE AND DELIVERED. SINCE HE WAS LETTING THE FLOOR STAFF MAKE THEIR OWN DRINKS, HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN MAKING SURE THAT ALL OF THE DRINKS WERE BEING ACCOUNTED FOR. HOWEVER, HE WAS NOT DOING THIS.
AT THIS POINT IN THE SPOTTING, MY PARTNER AND I WALKED BACK OVER TO THE AFRICAN-AMERICAN HOSTESS. WE TOLD HER THAT WE WOULD LIKE A TABLE. SHE TOOK US BACK INTO THE BAR ROOM, SAT US AT A TABLE, AND GAVE US MENUS. OUR WAITRESS WAS OVER TO OUR TABLE VERY QUICKLY. LIKE I MENTIONED, OUR FOOD TAB SAID HER NAME WAS XXXXX. MY PARTNER ORDERED A DRINK.
WHEN SHE CAME BACK WITH MY PARTNER’S DRINK, WE QUESTIONED HER ON THE MENU. SHE WAS ABLE TO MAKE SUGGESTIONS. SHE OFFERED US TIME TO DECIDE, LIKE SHE SHOULD. I TOLD HER THAT WE WERE READY TO ORDER. MY PARTNER ORDERED THE SALMON. SHE ASKED HOW MY PARTNER WOULD LIKE THE SALMON TO BE COOKED. I ORDERED THE FISH AND CHIPS. SHE THANKED US AND PLACED THE ORDER. SHE DID NOT OFFER US AN APPETIZER OR A STARTER.
LIKE I MENTIONED, OUR WAITRESS WAS ALSO MAKING HER OWN DRINKS. SHE ACCOUNTED FOR THESE DRINKS BY GOING TO THE POS AND ENTERING THE DRINKS ONTO CUSTOMERS’ TABS BEFORE MAKING THE DRINKS AND DELIVERING THEM. HOWEVER, AGAIN, THE BARTENDER WAS NOT CHECKING TO MAKE SURE THAT THE FLOOR STAFF WAS ACCOUNTING FOR DRINKS CORRECTLY.
OUR FOOD CAME OUT OF THE KITCHEN QUICKLY. IT WAS OUT OF THE KITCHEN IN FOURTEEN MINUTES. IT WAS RUN OVER TO OUR TABLE BY A FOODRUNNER. OUR WAITRESS STOPPED TO MAKE SURE THAT WE HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED, WHICH WE DID. SHE STOPPED BACK AT THE TABLE WHEN SHE NOTICED THAT MY GLASS WAS EMPTY. SHE OFFERED ME A REFILL, LIKE SHE SHOULD. WHEN WE HAD FINISHED EATING, SHE CAME OVER TO REMOVE OUR EMPTY PLATES AND ASK US HOW WE ENJOYED THE FOOD. SHE ALSO OFFERED US ANOTHER DRINK, COFFEE, OR DESSERT, LIKE SHE SHOULD.
TO SUM UP THIS WAITRESS, SHE QUICKLY CAME OVER TO OUR TABLE. SHE TOOK MY PARTNER’S DRINK ORDER AND QUICKLY CAME BACK WITH MY PARTNER’S DRINK. WHEN WE QUESTIONED HER ON THE MENU, SHE WAS ABLE TO MAKE SUGGESTIONS. SHE OFFERED US TIME TO DECIDE, LIKE SHE SHOULD. AFTER SHE TOOK OUR ORDER, SHE THANKED US BUT DID NOT OFFER US AN APPETIZER, LIKE SHE SHOULD HAVE. WHEN SHE NOTICED THE FOOD BEING RUN OVER TO OUR TABLE, SHE IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWED OVER. WHEN SHE NOTICED THAT I HAD AN EMPTY GLASS, SHE CAME OVER TO OFFER ME A REFILL.
WHEN SHE NOTICED THAT MY PARTNER AND I HAD FINISHED EATING, SHE CAME OVER TO REMOVE OUR PLATES. SHE ASKED US HOW WE ENJOYED THE FOOD. SHE ALSO ASKED US IF WE WOULD LIKE ANOTHER DRINK, COFFEE, OR DESSERT. WHEN I TOLD HER THAT WE WERE GOING GO BACK TO THE BAR, SHE OFFERED TO BRING US THE CHECK. I WANT TO MENTION THAT ALTHOUGH I NOTICED THAT SOME TABLES WERE GIVEN BOTTLED WATER, WE WERE NOT OFFERED ANY WATER.
TO SUM UP OUR FOOD, IT CAME OUT OF KITCHEN QUICKLY. THE PRESENTATION WAS VERY NICE. THE FOOD WAS VERY FRESH AND TASTY. WE ENJOYED IT. WHEN WE FIRST SAT DOWN, OUR TABLE TOP, CHAIR TOPS, AND UNDERNEATH THE TABLE WERE CLEAN. THE SIDE PLATES, SILVERWARE, AND NAPKINS WERE ALL CLEAN, AS WELL. THE FOODRUNNER AND THE BUSBOY WORKING OUT ON THE FLOOR KNEW THEIR JOBS AND DID THEM WITHOUT DIRECTION.
AFTER MY PARTNER AND I PAID THE FOOD TAB, WE WENT BACK TO THE BAR. AGAIN, WE WERE SERVED BY THE STOCKY MALE BARTENDER WITH A ROUND FACE AND DARK HAIR. HE NOTICED US APPROACH THE BAR. HE ASKED US HOW WE ENJOYED OUR DINNER. HE SERVED US AND, AGAIN, IMMEDIATELY CHARGED US.
THROUGHOUT THE REST OF THE SPOTTING, HE WAS ATTENTIVE. HE WAS ALWAYS VERY POLITE WHEN INTERACTING WITH CUSTOMERS. HE WAS GOOD AT NOTICING CUSTOMERS WHEN THEY CAME IN AND APPROACHED THE BAR. HE WAS ALSO GOOD AT NOTICING EMPTY GLASSES. IF CUSTOMERS WERE SITTING THERE WITH EMPTY GLASSES BUT DID NOT ASK HIM FOR A REFILL, HE WOULD OFFER THEM ONE. HE ACCOUNTED FOR ALL DRINKS IMMEDIATELY, EITHER IN CASH OR BY ADDING THEM ONTO CUSTOMERS’ TABS. HE ALWAYS RANG THE POS CORRECTLY WHEN USING IT.
THIS BARTENDER NEVER SHOWED FAVORITISM TO ANY CUSTOMERS. HE WAS VERY ATTENTIVE TO THE CUSTOMERS THAT ATE AT THE BAR. HE GAVE GOOD SERVICE TO THESE CUSTOMERS. HE WAS NOT ACCOUNTING FOR DRINKS THAT WENT OUT AT SERVICE BAR. HE WAS NOT READING A DUPE. HE WAS ALSO TEACHING THE WAITRESS, XXXXX, HOW TO BARTEND A LITTLE BIT.
HE AND THE REST OF YOUR STAFF DID NOT WASTE DRAFT BEER WHEN POURING IT. MOST OF THE TIME, HE USED A TUMBLER BUT NOT ALWAYS. HE MADE QUITE A FEW COCKTAILS. HE WAS ABLE TO MAKE THEM QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY. WHEN YOUR WAIT STAFF MADE THEIR OWN DRINKS, THEY HAD AN AVERAGE POUR COUNT. NOBODY BOUGHT BACK OR GAVE AWAY ANY DRINKS. HE DID NOT DRINK. HE WAS NOT TEXTING ON A PHONE.
THERE WAS A BARBACK WORKING BEHIND THE BAR. HE WAS VERY HELPFUL. HE KEPT THE BAR SET UP AND STOCKED. HE ALSO KEPT EVERYTHING CLEANED AND ORGANIZED.
ALL OF YOUR STAFF GOT ALONG WELL WITH EACH OTHER. THERE WAS NO FRICTION. ALTHOUGH THERE WERE A FEW TIMES WHEN YOUR STAFF WAS A LITTLE TOO TALKATIVE WITH EACH OTHER BEHIND THE BAR, THESE CONVERSATIONS WERE VERY SHORT AND YOUR STAFF WOULD GO RIGHT BACK TO WORK. NO STAFF MEMBER WAS SEEN DRINKING LIQUOR OR APPEARED INTOXICATED. ALL OF YOUR STAFF HAD A VERY NICE APPEARANCE. THE ONLY STAFF MEMBER SEEN TEXTING WAS THE HOSTESS. SHE WAS TEXTING WHEN MY PARTNER AND I FIRST CAME IN, AS WELL AS WHEN WE WERE LEAVING.
THE BAR WAS SET UP IN STOCK CORRECTLY, WHICH DOES HELP THE BARTENDER WITH SPEED. THE BACK OF THE BAR, DINNING ROOM, AND BATHROOMS WERE ALL VERY CLEAN AND IN GOOD SHAPE. ONE OF THE TVS WAS ON A MOVIE STATION AND THE OTHER WAS ON SPORTS. THE MUSIC WAS VERY, VERY LOW AND WE COULD BARELY HEAR IT. THE LIGHTING AND THE TEMPERATURE INSIDE WERE NICE. ANY QUESTIONS ON THIS SPOTTING, IT WAS DONE BY MIKE AND CARA. THANK YOU.
MY PARTNER AND I ARRIVED AT XXXXX, XXXXX NIGHT AROUND X:XXPM ON XX/XX/XXXX. WHEN WE CAME IN, WE WERE IMMEDIATELY GREETED BY A HOSTESS. SHE WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HAD A NICE WAY ABOUT HER. SHE ASKED US IF WE WOULD LIKE TO GO TO THE BAR OR TO A TABLE. I TOLD HER THAT WE WOULD LIKE TO BE SEATED AT A TABLE AND HAVE DINNER. SHE IMMEDIATELY TOOK US INTO THE DINNING ROOM. BEFORE SHE SAT US AT A TABLE, SHE ASKED US IF THE TABLE WAS OKAY. WE TOLD HER SURE. WHEN SHE SAT US, SHE GAVE US FOOD AND DRINK MENUS THAT INCLUDED WINES AND A LIST OF THE SPECIALS FOR THE EVENING.
ABOUT FOUR MINUTES LATER, OUR WAITRESS WAS OVER TO OUR TABLE. SHE WAS VERY FRIENDLY. SHE INTRODUCED HERSELF AND SAID THAT HER NAME WAS XXXXX. SHE ASKED US HOW WE WERE DOING AND IF WE WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A DRINK WHILE WE LOOK OVER THE MENU. I QUESTIONED HER ON SOME OF THE COCKTAILS ON THE MENU. MY PARTNER ASKED HER ABOUT THE CABERNETS THAT YOU CARRY BY THE GLASS. SHE WAS ABLE TO ANSWER ALL OF OUR QUESTIONS. WHEN WE PLACED OUR ORDER, SHE THANKED US.
IT TOOK HER SIX MINUTES TO COME BACK WITH OUR DRINKS. AS SOON AS SHE WAS BACK AT OUR TABLE, SHE ASKED US IF WE WOULD LIKE WATER OR BREAD. SHE DID NOT JUST AUTOMATICALLY BRING US WATER OR BREAD. SHE ASKED US IF WE HAD ANY QUESTIONS. I QUESTIONED HER ON THE SPECIALS OF THE EVENING. SHE WAS ABLE TO ANSWER OUR QUESTIONS ON THE MENU AND ON THE SPECIALS. SHE OFFERED US TIME TO DECIDE, LIKE SHE SHOULD. SHE IMMEDIATELY TOLD US WHAT ITEMS ON THE MENU WERE UNAVAILABLE. AGAIN, SHE OFFERED US TIME TO DECIDE, LIKE SHE SHOULD.
A FEW MINUTES LATER, OUR WAITRESS CAME BACK OVER TO US ASKED IF WE WERE READY TO ORDER, WHICH WE WERE. MY PARTNER ORDERED THE FISH AND CHIPS. I ORDERED THE OPEN STEAK SANDWICH. SHE THANKED US AND BEFORE SHE LEFT THE TABLE, SHE ASKED US IF WE WOULD LIKE AN APPETIZER OR SOMETHING TO START WITH. WE TOLD HER “NO, THANK YOU”.
AFTER SHE PLACED THE ORDER, IT TOOK EIGHTEEN MINUTES FOR THE FOOD TO ARRIVE AT OUR TABLE. IT WAS RUN OVER TO OUR TABLE BY A FOODRUNNER. I WANT TO LET YOU KNOW THAT OUR TABLE WAS ROCKY. HOWEVER, THE TABLE WAS SET CORRECTLY. ALL OF THE CONDIMENTS WERE IN THE CADDY ON THE TABLE. THE SILVERWARE, SIDE PLATES, AND NAPKINS WERE ON THE TABLE, AS WELL.
WHILE MY PARTNER AND I WERE EATING, OUR WAITRESS STOPPED BACK AT OUR TABLE TO MAKE SURE THAT WE HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED. AGAIN, SHE WAS VERY NICE. HOWEVER, SHE DID NOT NOTICE THAT MY PARTNER’S GLASS WAS EMPTY AND SHE DID NOT OFFER MY PARTNER A REFILL. WHEN WE HAD FINISHED EATING, THE BUSBOY IMMEDIATELY CAME OVER TO REMOVE OUR EMPTY PLATES AND SHE FOLLOWED OVER. SHE ASKED US HOW WE ENJOYED THE FOOD. WE TOLD HER THAT IT WAS VERY GOOD. SHE ASKED US IF THERE WOULD BE ANYTHING ELSE BUT SHE DID NOT TRY TO ENTICE US INTO AN AFTER DINNER, COFFEE, OR DESSERT, LIKE SHE SHOULD HAVE. SHE JUST OFFERED TO BRING US THE CHECK.
TO SUM UP OUR WAITRESS, SHE WAS VERY POLITE TO US, AS WELL AS TO THE OTHER TABLES THAT SHE WAS HANDLING. SHE WOULD STAND IN THE DINNING ROOM, OVERSEEING HER TABLES. WHEN SHE THOUGHT THAT A CUSTOMER NEEDED SOMETHING, SHE IMMEDIATELY WENT OVER TO THEIR TABLE.
TO SUM UP OUR FOOD, IT TOOK EIGHTEEN MINUTES TO COME OUT OF THE KITCHEN. THE PRESENTATION WAS VERY NICE ON THE PLATES. THE FOOD WAS SERVED AT THE CORRECT TEMPERATURE AND IT WAS FRESH AND TASTY. LIKE I MENTIONED, OUR TABLE WAS ROCKY. HOWEVER, THE TABLE TOP WAS NOT WET OR STICKY AND IT WAS CORRECTLY SET UP. THE TABLE TOP, CHAIR TOPS, AND UNDERNEATH TABLE WERE ALL CLEAN.
YOUR FLOOR STAFF WAS VERY ATTENTIVE. THEY WERE AVAILABLE AND ACCESIBLE TO CUSTOMERS. THE WAIT STAFF WAS QUICKLY GETTING DRINKS AT THE BAR AND THEY WERE NOT KEPT WAITING FOR DRINKS. THEY WERE NOT HANGING AROUND THE SERVICE END OF THE BAR. THEY WERE IN THE DINNING ROOM, LIKE THEY SHOULD BE. THE FOODRUNNER DID A NICE JOB. THERE WERE NEVER ISSUES WITH THE FOOD BEING RUN FROM THE KITCHEN TO THE CUSTOMERS. AT TIMES, THE BUSBOY HELPED RUN THE FOOD.
THE BUS STAFF DID A NICE JOB, AS WELL. THEY KNEW THEIR JOB AND DID IT WITHOUT DIRECTION. WHEN THEY NOTICED CUSTOMERS SITTING THERE WITH EMPTY GLASSES, THEY WENT OVER TO TABLES AND ASKED CUSTOMERS IF THEY COULD REMOVE THEIR EMPTY GLASSES FOR THEM. WHEN CUSTOMERS LEFT THE TABLES, THEY QUICKLY WENT OVER TO CLEAN OFF THE TABLE AND GET IT SET FOR THE NEXT CUSTOMER. THEY ALSO RAN BREAD OR WATER OVER TO CUSTOMERS AND IF CUSTOMERS RAN OUT OF BREAD OR WATER, THEY WOULD OFFER THEM MORE. THEY HANDLED GLASSWARE AND PLATEWARE APPROPRIATELY.
THROUGHOUT THE SPOTTING, THE HOSTESS WAS ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND UPBEAT. SHE WAS VERY PERSONABLE WHEN SEATING CUSTOMERS AND GIVING THEM MENUS. WHEN CUSTOMERS WERE LEAVING, SHE ALWAYS WENT OUT OF HER WAY TO SAY GOODBYE AND THANK THEM FOR COMING.
THERE ARE A FEW OTHER THINGS THAT I WANT TO MENTION. ALL OF YOUR MENUS WERE CLEAN AND HAD CRISP PAGES. THE BUS STAFF USED A CRUMBER ON THE TABLES. ALL OF THE TABLES WERE CORRECTLY SET UP. ALL OF THE PROPER CONDIMENTS WERE IN THE CADDIES ON THE TABLES. WHEN CUSTOMERS ASKED FOR THEIR FOOD TO BE WRAPPED UP TO-GO, THE FLOOR STAFF HAD NO ISSUE WITH THIS AND HAPPILY DID THIS FOR THE CUSTOMERS. ALL OF THE FOOD WAS COMING OUT OF THE KITCHEN IN A TIMELY MANNER. WHILE WE WERE IN THE DINNING ROOM AND, LATER ON, WHILE WE WERE AT THE BAR, WE NEVER OVERHEARD CUSTOMERS MAKING ANY COMPLAINTS.
THERE WERE TWO MANAGERS ON DUTY, A MALE AND A FEMALE. THEY WERE OUT ON THE FLOOR. I ALSO SAW THEM IN THE BAR AREA. WHENEVER THEY PASSED BY CUSTOMERS, THEY SAID HELLO AND ASKED THEM HOW THEY WERE ENJOYING THEIR MEALS. THEY ALSO INTERACTED WITH YOUR STAFF. THEY WERE BOTH VERY PROFESSIONAL AND WERE WELL GROOMED.
AFTER MY PARTNER AND I PAID OUR DINNER TAB, WE WENT TO THE BAR. THERE WAS A NICE CROWD AT THE BAR. THE BARTENDERS BEHIND THE BAR WERE ALSO TAKING CARE OF THE TABLES IN THE BAR AREA. THE BLONDE FEMALE BARTENDER’S NAME WAS XXXXX. SHE NOTICED US APPROACH THE BAR AND QUICKLY CAME OVER TO US. THERE WAS A COCKTAIL TENT ON THE BAR TOP. I ASKED HER ABOUT SOME OF THE COCKTAILS ON THE MENU AND MY PARTNER ASKED HER WHAT RED WINES YOU CARRY BY THE GLASS. SHE WAS ABLE TO ANSWER ALL OF OUR QUESTIONS AND MAKE SUGGESTIONS. SHE QUICKLY SERVED US AND IMMEDIATELY CHARGED US.
AS I WATCHED HER BEHIND THE BAR, SHE WAS ALWAYS POLITE WHEN INTERACTING WITH CUSTOMERS. SHE MOVED BACK AND FORTH IN HER SECTION OF THE BAR. THERE WERE TIMES WHEN SHE WAS ALSO HANDLING THE SERVICE END OF THE BAR. WHEN NEW CUSTOMERS CAME IN AND APPROACHED THE BAR, SHE DID HER BEST TO QUICKLY PICK UP ON THEM AND QUICKLY SERVE THEM. TOO OFTEN, THERE WERE CUSTOMERS SITTING AT THE BAR, CHATTING, WITH EMPTY GLASSES IN FRONT OF THEM. SHE SHOULD HAVE OFFERED THESE CUSTOMERS REFILLS, INSTEAD OF WAITING FOR CUSTOMERS TO ASK HER FOR A REFILL. HOWEVER, SHE DID NOT DO THIS. A GOOD BARTENDER NOTICES EMPTY GLASSES AND OFFERS CUSTOMERS REFILLS.
THERE WERE SEVERAL TIMES WHEN THIS BARTENDER WAS SLOW TO ACCOUNT FOR DRINKS. ALTHOUGH SHE, EVENTUALLY, ACCOUNTED FOR ALL OF THESE DRINKS, WE SUGGEST THAT IT SHOULD ALWAYS BE TAKE THE ORDER, MAKE THE DRINK, ACCOUNT FOR IT IMMEDIATELY, AND THEN MOVE ON TO THE NEXT CUSTOMER THAT IS WAITING TO BE SERVED. SHE NEVER LEFT THE REGISTER DRAWER OPEN. SHE ALWAYS RANG THE POS CORRECTLY WHEN USING IT.
SHE SERVED FOOD AT THE BAR. SHE HAD KNOWLEDGE OF THE FOOD MENU. SHE SET UP THE BAR TOP WHEN SHE TOOK THE ORDER. SHE ALWAYS HAD THE PROPER CONDIMENTS UP ON THE BAR TOP WHEN CUSTOMERS WERE EATING. SHE CHECKED IN WITH THE CUSTOMERS WHILE THEY WERE EATING. WHEN CUSTOMERS HAD FINISHED EATING, THE BARBACK WAS USUALLY THE ONE THAT NOTICED AND WENT OVER TO REMOVE THE EMPTY PLATES AND WIPE THE BAR TOP DOWN.
WHEN THIS BARTENDER WAS HANDLING SERVICE BAR, THERE WERE TIMES WHEN SHE TOOK THE ORDER VERBALLY. HOWEVER, THE ONLY WAY A BARTENDER KNOWS IF THE FLOOR STAFF IS ACCOUNTING FOR DRINKS IS TO READ THE DUPE, MAKE THE DRINKS, AND THEN SEND THEM OUT. THERE WERE TIMES WHEN SHE READ THE DUPES AND THERE WERE OTHER TIMES WHEN SHE TOOK THE ORDER VERBALLY. WHEN SHE TOOK THE ORDER VERBALLY, SHE DID NOT BOTHER TO READ THE DUPE SINCE SHE ALREADY SENT OUT THE DRINKS.
SHE LEFT THE BAR AND WENT OUT ON THE FLOOR TO HANDLE SOME OF THE TABLES IN THE BAR AREA. WHEN SHE TOOK DRINKS ORDERS AT THE TABLES, SHE WENT TO THE POS, ENTERED THE DRINKS ONTO CUSTOMERS’ TABS, MADE THE DRINKS, AND THEN DELIVERED THEM. SHE NEVER CAME ACROSS AS BORED. SHE NEVER GOT CAUGHT UP IN CONVERSATIONS THAT LASTED LONGER THAN THEY SHOULD HAVE. SHE WAS HAPPY TO DISCUSS FOOD ITEMS, COCKTAILS, AND WINES WHENEVER CUSTOMERS ASKED HER ABOUT THE ITEMS.
THIS BARTENDER NEVER HAD TROUBLE HANDLING THE CROWD AT THE BAR. SHE WAS ALWAYS ABLE TO QUICKEN HER PACE WHEN SHE HAD TO. SHE NEVER SHOWED FAVORITISM TO ANY CUSTOMERS. SHE TREATED ALL CUSTOMERS EQUALLY. SHE WASTED DRAFT BEER WHEN POURING IT. SHE WOULD PULL THE BEER HANDLE BACK AND LET TWO OR THREE SECONDS OF BEER GO DOWN THE DRAIN BEFORE PUTTING THE GLASS UNDERNEATH IT. IF THERE IS NO PROBLEM WITH THE DRAFT BEER SYSTEM, THIS IS JUST A WASTE OF BEER. SHE WAS CONSISTENT WHEN SHE POURED WINES. SHE ALWAYS POURED THE WINE INTO A CRAFT AND GAVE CUSTOMERS THE CRAFT AND THE GLASS. THE CUSTOMERS POURED THEIR OWN WINES.
SHE POURED LIQUOR VERY HEAVY. MOST OF HER DRINKS WERE A FIVE COUNT. HOWEVER, A FOUR COUNT IS AN AVERAGE POUR. SHE DID NOT USE A TUMBLER WHEN MAKING COCKTAILS AND SHE OVER POURED. USUALLY AFTER SHE FINISHED MAKING DRINKS, SHE ALWAYS HAD LIQUOR LEFT OVER IN THE SHAKER, WHICH SHE WOULD DUMP INTO THE SINK. THIS IS A WASTE OF LIQUOR. SHE DID NOT WASH OUT HER SHAKER IN BETWEEN MAKING COCKTAILS. SHE DID NOT BUY BACK OR GIVE AWAY ANY DRINKS. SHE DID NOT DRINK LIQUOR. HOWEVER, SHE WAS TEXTING ON HER PHONE. WE SUGGEST THAT INSTEAD OF TEXTING, BARTENDERS SHOULD BE INTERACTING WITH CUSTOMERS.
WHEN MY PARTNER AND I WERE READY FOR A SECOND ROUND OF DRINKS, WE MOVED DOWN THE BAR AND PUSHED OUR EMPTY GLASSES IN FRONT OF THE MALE BARTENDER WITH BLACK HAIR. I HEARD HIM BEING CALL XXXXX. HE NOTICED US PUSH OUR EMPTY GLASSES IN FORWARD AND QUICKLY CAME OVER TO US. HE WAS VERY FRIENDLY. HE HAD KNOWLEDGE OF YOUR WINES AND COCKTAILS. HE SERVED US AND IMMEDIATELY CHARGED US.
AS I WATCHED HIM BEHIND THE BAR, HE WAS ALWAYS POLITE WHEN INTERACTING WITH CUSTOMERS. HE MOVED QUICKLY BEHIND THE BAR AND ALSO KEPT AN EYE ON SERVICE BAR. WHEN CUSTOMERS CAME IN AND APPROACHED THE BAR, HE DID NOT KEEP THEM WAITING TO BE SERVED. HE HAD KNOWLEDGE OF YOUR WINES AND COCKTAILS. WHEN HE NOTICED CUSTOMERS SITTING THERE WITH EMPTY GLASSES, HE OFFERED THEM REFILLS. HE ACCOUNTED FOR ALL DRINKS IMMEDIATELY AFTER SERVING THEM, EITHER IN CASH OR BY ADDING THE DRINKS ONTO CUSTOMERS’ TABS. HE NEVER LEFT THE REGISTER DRAWER OPEN. HE ALWAYS RANG THE POS CORRECTLY.
THIS BARTENDER SERVED FOOD AT THE BAR. HE HAD KNOWLEDGE OF YOUR MENU AND OF YOUR SPECIALS. HE IMMEDIATELY SET UP THE BAR TOP. HE ALWAYS HAD THE PROPER CONDIMENTS UP ON THE BAR TOP WHEN CUSTOMERS WERE EATING. HE CHECKED IN WITH THE CUSTOMERS WHILE THEY WERE EATING. WHEN CUSTOMERS HAD FINISHED EATING, EITHER HE OR THE BARBACK WOULD QUICKLY NOTICE AND GO OVER TO REMOVE THE EMPTY PLATES AND WIPE THE BAR TOP DOWN.
THERE WERE TIMES WHEN HE LEFT THE BAR TO GO HANDLE TABLES IN THE BAR AREA. WHEN HE TOOK DRINK ORDERS AT THE TABLES, HE WENT TO THE POS, ENTERED THE DRINKS ONTO CUSTOMERS’ TABS, MADE THE DRINKS, AND THEN DELIVERED THEM. ALL OF THE DRINKS THAT HE SENT OUT AT SERVICE BAR, HE ACCOUNTED FOR BY READING THE DUPE BEFORE MAKING THE DRINKS AND SENDING THEM OUT.
AT ONE POINT, THERE WAS A CUSTOMER AT THE BAR THAT THIS BARTENDER THOUGHT HAD TOO MUCH TO DRINK. HE DISCREETLY TOLD THIS CUSTOMER THAT HE WOULD NOT BE SERVED ANY MORE AND THAT HE WOULD BE GLAD TO GET HIM A CUP OF COFFEE. THIS CUSTOMER, THEN, DECIDED TO LEAVE. HE HANDLED THIS INTOXICATED CUSTOMER AND THE SITUATION VERY WELL. FROM WHAT I COULD HEAR OF THE CONVERSATION, I BELIEVE THAT THE CUSTOMER WAS ALREADY INTOXICATED WHEN HE CAME IN BUT THAT THEY DID NOT NOTICE RIGHT AWAY. THIS CUSTOMER WAS SERVED ONE DRINK AND WHILE HE WAS DRINKING, THEY NOTICED THAT HE SHOULD NOT BE SERVED ANYMORE.
ALTHOUGH HE PLAYED A LITTLE BIT OF FAVORITISM WITH HIS TIME TO CERTAIN CUSTOMERS THAT HE DRIFTED BACK OVER TO, HE WAS GOOD AT CARRYING A CONVERSATION WHILE WATCHING WHAT WAS GOING ON AROUND HIM. HE EITHER KNEW THESE CUSTOMERS NAD JUST LIKED TALKING TO THEM. HE DID BUY BACK A ROUND OF DRINKS FOR THESE CUSTOMERS. THESE WERE THE ONLY CUSTOMERS THAT HE BOUGHT BACK DRINKS FOR. HE BOUGHT BACK A TOTAL OF FOUR DRINKS. ALTHOUGH THERE WERE OTHER CUSTOMERS THAT STAYED AS LONG AS THESE CUSTOMERS AND HAD AS MUCH TO DRINK AS THESE CUSTOMERS, HE DID NOT BUY BACK DRINKS FOR THEM.
THIS BARTENDER DID NOT WASTE DRAFT BEER WHEN POURING IT. HIS POUR COUNT ON LIQUOR RANGED BETWEEN A FOUR COUNT, WHICH IS AN AVERAGE POUR, AND A FIVE AND A HALF COUNT. THE CUSTOMERS THAT WERE GETTING A FIVE AND A HALF COUNT WERE CUSTOMERS THAT HE SEEMED TO KNOW OR LIKED TO TALK TO. WHEN HE MADE COCKTAILS, THERE WAS ALWAYS A LITTLE BIT LEFT OVER IN THE SHAKER. HE WOULD DRINK THIS LEFT OVER LIQUOR. WE SUGGEST THAT STAFF SHOULD NOT BE DRINKING LIQUOR AT ALL. HE WASHED THE SHAKER IN BETWEEN MAKING COCKTAILS. HE NEVER MADE HIMSELF A DRINK BUT THERE WERE FOUR DIFFERENT TIMES WHEN HE DRANK THE LEFT OVER LIQUOR FROM THE SHAKER AFTER MAKING COCKTAILS FOR CUSTOMERS.
THERE WERE TWO DIFFERENT TIMES, DURING THE SPOTTING, WHEN HE WAS COUNTING TIPS. I DO NOT WHY HE WAS DOING THIS. WE SUGGEST THAT TIPS SHOULD BE COUNTED AT THE END OF THE NIGHT. HE SHOULD HAVE ONLY BEEN INTERESTED IN GIVING GOOD SERVICE TO THE CUSTOMERS. THERE WERE SOME CUSTOMERS THAT HE DID ID BEFORE SERVING. ONCE HE SAW THE CUSTOMERS’ IDS, HE GLADLY SERVED THEM. HE WAS TEXTING ON HIS PHONE. AGAIN, WE SUGGEST THAT BARTENDERS SHOULD NOT BE TEXTING ON THEIR PHONES.
BOTH OF THE BARTENDERS WORKED WELL WITH EACH OTHER. THEY USED TONGS WHEN HANDLING FRUIT AND THEY USED AN ICE SCOOP WHEN SCOOPING ICE. THE BARBACK DID A VERY NICE JOB. HE MOVED BETWEEN THE BAR AND THE TABLES IN THE BAR AREA. HE REMOVED EMPTY PLATES AND GLASSES FROM THE BAR TOP AND FROM THE TABLES. HE ALWAYS KEPT THE BAR TOP AND THE TABLE TOPS CLEAN. HE WAS ALSO VERY ATTENTIVE TO REPLACING STOCK.
ALL OF YOUR STAFF WAS UPBEAT AND ENERGETIC. THEY ALL HAD SMILES ON THEIR FACES WHEN INTERACTING WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS. ALL OF YOUR STAFF WORKED WELL WITH EACH OTHER. THERE WAS NO FRICTION. NO STAFF MEMBERS WERE SEEN EATING. NO STAFF MEMBERS APPEARED TO BE INTOXICATED. HOWEVER, LIKE I MENTIONED, WHENEVER THE MALE BARTENDER HAD LIQUOR LEFT OVER IN THE SHAKER AFTER MAKING COCKTAILS, HE WOULD DRINK IT. ALL OF YOUR STAFF HAD A NICE APPEARANCE AND WERE WELL GROOMED. TOO OFTEN, YOUR STAFF WAS SEEN TEXTING ON A PHONE.
THE BAR WAS SET UP IN STOCK CORRECTLY, WHICH DOES HELP THE BARTENDERS WITH SPEED AND EFFICIENCY. THE BACK OF THE BAR, DINNING ROOM AREA, WAIT STAFF STATION, AND BATHROOMS WERE ALL CLEAN AND IN GOOD SHAPE. THE BAR TOP WAS NOT WET OR STICKY IN ANY AREAS AND WAS ALWAYS KEPT CLEAN. WHEN WE WERE COMING IN, THE SIDEWALK WAS CLEAN AND THERE WAS A MENU BOARD ON THE SIDEWALK THAT HAD THE SPECIALS WRITTEN ON IT. ALSO, THE WINDOWS AND GLASS DOORS WERE CLEAN AND SMUDGE FREE. THE TVS WERE ON SPORTS WITH NO VOLUME. THERE WAS MUSIC PLAYING. THE LIGHTING WAS NICE FOR THAT TIME OF THE EVENING. THE TEMPERATURE INSIDE WAS NICE, AS WELL. OVERALL, THERE WAS A VERY NICE ATMOSPHERE. ANY QUESTIONS ON THIS SPOTTING, IT WAS DONE BY CARA AND TONY. THANK YOU.
